I’m a curious polymath and generalist by nature — drawn across disciplines, yet disciplined enough to go deep when it matters. I think in systems, question first principles, and value clarity through exploration.

At heart, I’m a tinkerer and builder — shaping thoughtful technology through iteration and precision. I focus less on noise and more on building things that work, endure, and improve over time.

Experience

JULIUS BAER | Wealth Management Internlink
Dec 2025 - January 2026 | Gurugram, India
  • Applied equity valuation frameworks (DDM, P/E, PEG, P/B, CAPE) with comparative analysis across profitability and unit economics.
  • Built a quantitative research framework covering volatility, drawdown, regime-wise returns, and equal-weight vs. index strategies.
  • Automated portfolio backtesting and analytics workflows using Python to support investment research.
  • Applied Monte Carlo simulations and options strategies (covered calls, spreads, straddles) for multi-asset risk estimation.

  • Built and deployed a production-ready ticketing platform using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Designed scalable REST APIs with JWT authentication and role-based access control.
  • Containerized services with Docker and deployed on AWS (EC2, RDS).
  • Designed database schema and managed migrations using Prisma ORM.

  • Coordinated with team of 5 people to make changes in the Mobile Application of the Company.
  • Re-Constructed Code Structure of the Mobile Application in Flutter.
  • Increased the Application speed by 42% by optimizing code and removing bugs.

Jul 2022 - Jul 2024 | The Hague, Netherlands
  • Built data pipelines (Pandas, NumPy) to analyze and monetize user data.
  • Developed ad-campaign algorithm (Express, MongoDB) boosting conversions by 35%.

Projects

Shodh Logo
SHODHlink
2026 – Present
  • A deep-research reading and analysis tool for investors — combining a PDF viewer, inline highlighting and annotation, and an AI-powered analysis panel.
  • Built on Next.js (App Router) with Supabase for auth and data, and Groq for fast LLM inference.
  • Positioned as a “personal research accumulation layer” — a gap underserved by enterprise tools like AlphaSense and Hebbia.
  • Currently iterating on it, including security and performance audits (rate limiting, RLS policy optimization, payload reduction, parallelized API routes).

Writings & Blogs

i host my thoughts on medium rather than building a custom site. instead of overengineering and reinventing the wheel, i prefer leveraging a mature platform that lets me focus on what matters: sharing insights on ai systems, product strategy, and technical architecture.

In Between These Experiences

The Product Building Journey

Looking back, none of this was planned as a “journey” — it just kept happening, one build after another, each one quietly better than the last.

It started with Phase0 Labs and MATCRYPT, my first real taste of co-founding something — learning what it means to build with someone else, not just for yourself.

Somewhere in there, I found myself doing 3D and creative work for Marcel — a coffee cup model, a portfolio site, even a full visualization of a manufacturing plant. It wasn't “my” product, but it taught me how to build for someone else's vision and still make it good.

Then I drifted into the quant side — building backtesters, testing trading strategies, eventually submitting an alpha to WorldQuant BRAIN that actually held up. This was the first time my work was being judged by numbers instead of my own gut feeling, and that shift changed how I think about building things.

From there came Zenoa, a tool to help people (including myself) make sense of CFA mock exams — turning my own exam-prep frustration into something structured enough to actually use and share.

And most recently, Shodh — a research tool I've built with real care, now polished enough to be the centerpiece of how I present myself to recruiters and firms. It's the first thing that feels less like a project and more like a body of work.

So yeah — hard work and consistency pay off. Each step felt small on its own, but stacked together, they've taken me from “just building things” to building things people actually notice.

Thing about me

beyond engineering and build systems, i find balance in the tactile and the thoughtful. whether it's exploring the nuances of complex architectures or spending time in the real world, my approach to life is driven by curiosity and a desire to understand how things work at their core.

i believe that the best products are built by people who have a diverse range of interests. it's the unique combination of technical depth and human perspective that allows us to create technology that actually resonates.
